About This Service

Stone and concrete that stay put through thirty below.

Wisconsin soil moves. Frost heaves, thaws and settles in ways that destroy work done on a shallow base. We engineer every hardscape project with proper excavation depth, crushed gravel compaction and drainage planning so your investment looks just as good in year ten.

From a simple front walkway to a full backyard patio with built-in seating walls and a fire pit — we plan the drainage first, design around your yard's grade, and build everything to last.

What You Get

No shortcuts. No fine print.

Here's exactly what's included in every hardscaping visit.

Paver patios

Custom layouts in concrete pavers, brick or natural stone — designed to complement your home's architecture.

Walkways and paths

Front entry walks, side-yard runs and garden paths that are level, safe and built to last through frost.

Retaining walls

Engineered to hold grade, manage hydrostatic pressure and resist Milwaukee's heavy clay soils.

Drainage engineered in

Every project accounts for water flow before the first stone is set. Poor drainage is why hardscaping fails early.

Fire pit surrounds

Built-in seating walls and surround pads designed for safe, permanent outdoor fire features.

Permanent edging

Steel and aluminum borders that stay where you put them and never need re-pinning.

Typically 6–8 inches of compacted crushed gravel for patios and walkways — more for retaining walls or areas with poor drainage. We never cut corners here.
For retaining walls over 4 feet and certain structural work, yes. We handle all permitting as part of the project.
Most residential patios take 2–4 days once materials are on-site. Projects with retaining walls or significant grading may take a full week.
Both work well when installed correctly. Concrete is lower long-term maintenance; pavers offer easier repair and more design flexibility. we will walk through the pros and cons for your project.
